Mechanical Engineer
- Project Execution & Coordination
o Coordinate mechanical and MEP-related activities during construction and fit-out stages
o Ensure installations adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and operational requirements
o Monitor project progress and proactively resolve delays or technical issues
o Support timely project completion, testing, and handover - Procurement & Installation
o Manage purchasing, installation, and commissioning of kitchen and café food preparation equipment
o Oversee procurement and installation of generators, hoists, and utility systems
o Verify equipment specifications, utility needs, and installation standards
o Coordinate supplier submissions, quotations, and technical evaluations - Systems & Utilities Management
o Ensure proper installation and operation of LPG/gas systems and mechanical utilities
o Coordinate testing and commissioning to ensure operational readiness before store openings
o Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with technical standards - Fire & Safety Compliance
o Coordinate installation of fire detection and protection systems
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
o Support inspections, testing, and corrective actions prior to handover - Stakeholder Management & Reporting
o Maintain strong coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
o Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical records
o Ensure clear communication throughout project execution - Continuous Improvement & Professional Conduct
o Identify opportunities to improve processes and project efficiency
o Maintain a proactive, learning-oriented approach
o Follow company safety standards, procedures, and ethical practices
Candidate Profile :
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply
- Internship or academic project exposure in construction, MEP, or building services is an added advantage
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, fire protection systems, LPG/gas systems, or commercial kitchen equipment
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD for preparing or modifying technical drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review technical information and support practical solutions
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams
- High attention to detail to ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Good planning and organizational skills to manage multiple project tasks efficiently
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork and professionalism in a fast-paced project environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards
