About this role:

Entry-level Mechanical Engineer. Participates in product development activities, executes tests, and produces parts, designs, or sketches, following all appropriate Mechanical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in product development activities including cost estimates, implementation of standard specifications, generation of product concepts, and development of performance or maintenance requirements
• Coordinate the build and instrumentation of prototype designs
• Execute tests for systems, sub-systems, and components. Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and provide written feedback detailing results and suggestions for improvements
• Follow all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs.
• Test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess operating condition effects
• Up to 20% travel

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 2 months of experience in engineering
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer ME degree
• Proactive and results-driven; thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Demonstrated technical skills in mechanical engineering. Basic knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical design and machine controls
• Relevant internships or co-op experiences within engineering functions
• Less than two years of professional work experience  (not including prior internships)
• Flexibility and mobility to travel as needed to support product development
