Main responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of mechanical components, systems, and industrial equipment using advanced 2D/3D engineering tools.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including engineering calculations, specifications, and datasheets aligned with project requirements.
• Define technical solutions, materials, and configurations in compliance with customer needs and applicable standards (ASME BPVC Sections I, II, VIII; ASME B31.3, NR12, NR13 and ABNT).
• Review vendor drawings, technical documentation, and specifications to ensure quality, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
• Support procurement activities by performing technical evaluations, interacting with suppliers, and clarifying engineering requirements.
• Oversee fabrication processes and perform shop inspections, especially for pressure vessels and related equipment.
• Participate in technical reviews and cross-functional meetings to ensure proper project execution and alignment between teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization initiatives within the engineering area.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Strong experience with CAD tools (2D/3D).
• Proven experience with static and rotating equipment (vessels, tanks, agitators, pumps, expansion joints, compensators and piping systems).
• Solid knowledge of engineering design, fabrication processes, and applicable technical standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
