Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you lead the execution of mechanical development across assigned projects, from early requirements analysis through design release and verification. This role is central to delivering robust, cost‑effective mechanical solutions that meet customer, regulatory, and internal standards throughout the full project lifecycle, including RFQ and RFI phases.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Lead mechanical requirements definition, analysis, clarification, and implementation through all design freeze milestones.
  2. Design and develop mechanical architectures and components, ensuring compliance with standards, guidelines, and cost targets.
  3. Own the mechanical bill of materials (BOM) and ensure all mechanical deliverables are ready for each release on schedule.
  4. Plan, review, and drive robust design analyses and simulations, including finite element analysis, thermal analysis, and design reviews.
  5. Support verification, problem resolution, and change management by investigating issues, reviewing test results, and driving corrective actions.

Your Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
  2. 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and development within a structured product development environment.
  3. Knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, and mechanical simulation methods such as finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics.
  4. Experience working with requirements, change, configuration, and problem management tools.
  5. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across functions and with suppliers.
