
Mechanical Engineer
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, installation support, and maintenance coordination of transmission line structures and related mechanical components for power transmission projects. The role includes supporting the installation process, ensuring structural stability and compliance with engineering standards, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of transmission systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and review mechanical components of high-voltage transmission line systems including towers, poles, and fittings.
Perform structural and mechanical analysis for transmission line structures, foundations, and hardware.
Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and design calculations.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and project teams to ensure proper design and installation of transmission line systems.
Evaluate materials, equipment, and vendors related to transmission line construction.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues in transmission line infrastructure.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in transmission line, power, or infrastructure projects (preferred).
Knowledge of transmission tower design, mechanical fittings, and structural analysis.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
Understanding of international standards related to transmission line design.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with high-voltage transmission line projects.
Knowledge of structural analysis tools such as STAAD or similar software.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and on project sites.
