Job Description

HPC Powered by Clean Harbors is looking for a Mechanical Engineer out of Canal Fulton OH. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing mechanical systems, components, and devices using CAD tools. This role includes conducting performance testing, troubleshooting design issues, and implementing solutions to enhance reliability and efficiency. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met and support the transition from design to manufacturing. Additionally, the position requires preparing detailed technical documentation, test reports, and design presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the overall safety, quality, and success of the project assigned.
  • Corrects deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity, harm to equipment, or is inconsistent with our client’s requirements and policies and procedures.
  • Communicate updates with team and client as needed.
  • Develop and refine mechanical systems, components, and devices using CAD software, ensuring designs meet project requirements from concept through production.
  • Plan and perform tests to measure system performance, safety, and efficiency, and use results to confirm design quality and compliance with standards.
  • Identify and resolve issues in designs or existing systems, recommending improvements to increase reliability, functionality, and overall performance.
  • Partner with engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders to align on specifications, resolve technical challenges, and support manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare clear technical reports, drawings, and presentations to communicate design details, test results, and project updates to management and clients.
  • May be assigned additional duties not listed above based on business needs

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering required
