The Mechanical Engineer as a part of an integrated, multi-discipline AEC - Process Mechanical team will be involved in process mechanical design, for US Projects.

The industries desirable are Food and beverages (F&B), Life Sciences (Pharma) Advanced Technology & Industrial process plants.

  • Mechanical Engineer with experience in Revit to develop process mechanical models to assist in F&B, Life Sciences (Pharma) Advanced Technology & Industrial sectors.
  • To coordinate with other disciplines to get the required inputs in developing clash free model.
  • To assist/work in AutoCAD 3D, or in Revit for developing process mechanical drawings.
  • To work/develop Mechanical Equipment layouts, Piping Lay out, Piping Isometrics, Plans and elevations in line with industrial/client specified standards.

Additional Job Description

  • Must be able to perform all level 2 duties competently
  • Design/alteration of equipment and piping system for process plants
  • Prepare equipment layouts, Piping layouts and PFD/P&IDs using CAD tools
  • Evaluation of complex designs; make engineering changes
  • Prepare BOM, assembly drawings/schematics using CAD for complex equipment
  • Manage and maintain project file/library, in accordance with QMS
  • Support field teams with technical assistance during the different phases of project as required
  • May assist with leading, mentoring or coaching less experienced team members
  • Other duties as assigned such as scoping and estimation for new projects, piping/insulation specification, equipment specification etc.
