Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

About the Role
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising mechanical works on construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role supports successful project execution across HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Site Supervision
Oversee installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works.
Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
Conduct site inspections and coordinate with subcontractors and site teams.
Design Review & Technical Support
Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
Provide technical clarifications and resolve site-related mechanical issues.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
Planning & Coordination
Prepare work schedules and coordinate activities to meet project milestones.
Liaise with procurement teams for material requirements and delivery schedules.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
Quality, Safety & Documentation
Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, safety standards, and local authority regulations.
Prepare method statements, inspection requests, and progress reports.
Maintain accurate site documentation and as-built records.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction or MEP contracting.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
Familiarity with UAE construction codes and authority approvals.
