• Arrangement of ME architecture, 3-dimensional formation of complex assemblies and circuit carriers.
• ME concept definition considering customer requirements, platform modules and standardized functional elements.
• Configuration and coordination of interface functions with customers and other disciplines.
• Packaging studies and evaluation of concepts or drafts including decision matrices.
• Definition of the production technologies and manufacturing flow in cooperation with operations.

• Development of single ME component(s) considering mechanical requirements, lessons learned, platform modules and standard function elements.
• Combine 3D models of single components and subassemblies at the product level.
• Control and verification of design configuration (tolerance calculation, insulation coordination).
• Definition of structural and thermal simulations needs and result confirmation.
• Creation of entire mechanical product documentation (drawings, specifications, bill of materials).
• Responsible for carrying out an interference check, tolerance analysis of the entire assembly.
