The Mechanical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings and designs using CAD software. The role involves coordinating with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of project deliverables.
Prepare accurate mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Coordinate with engineers and project managers to develop and update designs based on project requirements.
Review technical documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
Identify and resolve design discrepancies or technical issues.
Maintain drawing records and ensure documentation is up to date.
Ensure all drafting work complies with safety, quality, and project standards.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in construction or engineering projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and design principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
