
This Mechanical Drafter position participates in and may lead modeling and detailing projects of moderate to high complexity. Creates detailed drawings in 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings of intermediate to high complexity using 3D CAD Software tools (SolidWorks).
This drafter works within a project team—under the leadership of engineers, technicians and/or project managers. The drafter is expected to work and communicate well with other team members and leadership as assigned to meet the goals of the project, the department and the company.
Job Duties
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and no experience required OR
In lieu of degree, 4 years of experience in drafting or related drafting role is required
Experience in regulated industries preferred, with familiarity in compliance standards, documentation controls, and quality systems.
Experience with PDM/PLM systems preferred, including product data management, change control, and documentation workflows.

The estimated salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $100,000. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
