We are looking for a Mechanical Developer Engineer. This onsite position will be based in Peachtree Corners GA.

Join our innovative R&D team as a Mechanical Developer Engineer focused on the design and development of circuit breaker solutions. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to high impact engineering projects, leading the design and development of circuit breaker solutions. You’ll use competitive benchmarking to create high-performance designs that differentiate our products. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to bring mechanical designs from concept to production, ensuring alignment with performance, manufacturability, and cost targets.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Designing parts and assemblies using Pro/Engineering (Creo).
  • Collaborating on prototyping parts and assemblies to ensure design approval and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Assisting in project management through the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, from project inception to design, manufacturing, and obsolescence.
  • Maintaining close coordination with PLM project leads to ensure accurate completion of engineering action items.
  • Participating in component selection, including research into viable alternative components when needed.
  • Compiling details and drawings for customer instruction manuals and manufacturing instructions.
  • Working closely with Siemens manufacturing locations and providing a rapid response to technical questions.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent STEM field
  • 3+ years of experience with the following:
    • Electromechanical product design engineering
    • Knowledge of thermal management, heat transfer, and electrical power distribution principles as applied to low-voltage power products.
    • Pro/Engineer CREO or similar Mechanical Design/CAD program like SolidWorks
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced engineering or STEM degree
  • Hands-on experience with sheet metal manufacturing and design
  • MTO made-to-order manufacturing experience
  • Additive Manufacturing knowledge
  • Experience with MCCB molded case circuit breakers
  • Project Management experience
  • Technical Drawing and Blueprint Reading
  • Strong analytical problem solver with a proactive and dedicated approach

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $143,947 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
