Impact of this Role

As a Mechanical Designer on the Xerxes Design Support Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the customer experience by creating customized underground storage tank designs that support sales, engineering, and customer requirements. • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong communication and customer service standards to ensure sales drawing requests are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Develop expertise in Xerxes products, processes, and customer applications through hands-on learning, mentorship, and collaboration with the broader engineering and commercial teams.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Technical education, coursework, or training related to SolidWorks, 3D design, drafting, or mechanical design.
  • 0-3 years of experience, including new graduates eager to develop their engineering and design capabilities.
  • Experience using SolidWorks.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in mechanical design and engineering solutions.
  • Confidence communicating in English and collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, production, and customer-facing environments.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the willingness to seek information, learn quickly, and contribute to a collaborative culture.
  • Professional registration, SolidWorks certifications, automation experience, or industry experience related to underground storage systems are considered a plus.
