Job Description

O.E.I (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Designers to provide technical support for our Phnom Penh, Cambodia office. The position requires demonstrated engineering and design competency, preferably in a consulting environment, and with heavy industrial engineering projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Apply client and Orbital drafting standards with respect to borders, title blocks, layering, lettering/text style and line weight
• Incorporate redlines into AutoCAD drawings

• Prepare construction drawings based on sketches or concepts generated by senior designers or project engineers
• Prepare transmittals for deliverable package issuance

Minimum Requirements:

• Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and schematics
• Five years of prior professional experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Be able to work one of these software applications: Plant 3D, Microstation, OpenPlant, SmartPlant3D or CADWorx is a plus.

• Written and spoken English ability at a professional and technical level.

• Native Khmer speakers only.

Preferred Requirement:

• Bachelor degree with an emphasis in industrial drafting/design
• Understanding of piping and mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks
• Exposure to the Metals, Midstream Oil & Gas, Refineries & Petrochemical and/or Power Generation industries
