Damen Marine Components (DMC) is onderdeel van de Damen Shipyards Group en ontwikkelt en produceert hoogwaardige systemen voor voortstuwing, manoeuvreren en besturing van schepen. Onze oplossingen worden wereldwijd toegepast binnen de zeevaart, offshore, binnenvaart, marineschepen en superjachten.
Naast engineering en productie biedt DMC een wereldwijd 24/7 servicenetwerk waarmee klanten gedurende de volledige levenscyclus van hun hydraulische en mechanische installaties worden ondersteund.
Als Mechanical Design Engineer Hydraulics ben jij de technische specialist op het gebied van hydraulische systemen binnen een multidisciplinair Engineering team. Je werkt aan het ontwerpen, berekenen, testen en verbeteren van hydraulische installaties die een essentiële rol spelen in stuurmachines en andere scheepssystemen.
Je combineert engineering met technische ondersteuning. Dat betekent dat je niet alleen nieuwe systemen ontwikkelt, maar ook storingen analyseert, adviseert over oplossingen en documentatie opstelt voor installatie en inbedrijfstelling. Je schakelt hierbij intensief met klanten, leveranciers, service en interne afdelingen.
Samen met de Product Manager en Design & Proposal Engineer lever je een belangrijke bijdrage aan nieuwe projecten en offertes. Je zorgt ervoor dat hydraulische oplossingen betrouwbaar, robuust en kosteneffectief zijn gedurende de volledige projectcyclus.
Bij Damen Marine Components werk je aan technisch hoogwaardige hydraulische systemen die wereldwijd worden toegepast. Je krijgt ruimte voor eigen initiatief, vakinhoudelijke verdieping en samenwerking met ervaren specialisten.
