As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Creating Drill Bit Design and manufacturing packages utilizing 3-D modelling and data management systems

  • Interfacing with Product Line Management, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology groups to improve product performance and process efficiency

  • Documenting and sharing lessons learned, with cross functional groups

  • Supporting Manufacturing with problem solving and issue resolution

  • Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, and applicable processes for HSE, Quality, Legal Compliance and Cultural pillars

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college.

  • Have 2-5 years of experience.

  • ​Have experience with 3D CAD systems.

  • Possess awareness of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) principles

  • Be able to select engineering techniques and utilize analysis tools to solve problems and makes sound design recommendations.

  • Be familiar with mechanical component designs and applied methods.

  • Drive consistent usage of product design standards (and support updates).

  • Be fluent in English, for both oral and written.
