You will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept development to production and continuous improvement, helping shape the future of mechanical and electronic security solutions.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the development of innovative locking solutions, combining mechanical design expertise with a strong focus on security, performance, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical locking systems, from concept through production and lifecycle support.
  • Create 3D CAD models and technical drawings using Creo.
  • Ensure products meet performance, durability, reliability, and security requirements.
  • Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Define tolerances, interfaces, and assembly methods for complex mechanical systems.
  • Support product validation, certification, risk assessment, and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams to drive product improvements and solve technical challenges.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, materials, and smart locking solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3 to 10 years of experience in the design and development of mechanical locking systems or comparable mechanical products.
  • Proven experience managing projects throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept to production and field support.
  • Strong proficiency with 3D CAD software (Creo preferred).
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and assembly techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing preparation.
  • Fluent English and the ability to work effectively within international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with electronic or smart locking technologies.
  • Familiarity with security testing, validation, and certification processes.
  • Experience working within highly regulated product environments.
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance requirements.
