Independently identify, diagnose, and resolve complex mechanical tooling and fixture challenges with minimal supervision.Demonstrated hands‑on proficiency in UG/NX for 3D modeling, detailed design, and drafting.Perform detailed engineering analyses on mechanical systems, tooling, and fixtures, providing recommendations based on sound engineering principles.Develop, design, and modify layouts, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems and tooling of advanced technical scope.Implement innovative concepts and solutions to address complex product issues and mechanical design challenges.
Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling and fixturing for manufacturing, assembly, disassembly, repair, inspection, and handling operations.Establish tooling and process standards across manufacturing or operational workflows to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.Drive continuous improvement through process analysis, identifying optimization opportunities in tooling, methods, and engineering workflows.
Define test requirements, coordinate execution, and document engineering test plans and reports for tooling and mechanical systems.Prepare, review, and approve detailed engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
Technically lead or independently execute mechanical design and tooling projects from concept through implementation.Develop and collaborate with key suppliers; create and validate mechanical product specifications and tooling requirements.Interpret and communicate complex or sensitive technical information clearly and professionally to cross-functional teams.Build alignment and consensus across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and leadership teams regarding tooling solutions and engineering decisions.
