MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Location Timisoara, Romania

YOUR TASKS

• Design complex and complete devices, assemblies, and components for commercial vehicles, agricultural, off-highway vehicles and other special applications;
• Clarify and define design requirements with customers through project descriptions and analysis of design expenditure.
• Perform quality assurance measures, tolerance calculations, and design FMEAs.
• Develop design solutions and create CAD models in CATIA V5, incorporating customer 3D data.
• Ensure accurate bill-of-materials information and manage data exchange and storage in databases.
• Develop design solutions considering functional, material, manufacturing, and mechanical aspects.
• Present and represent work results within the company, with suppliers, and with customers.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of systematic design, tolerance analysis, and FMEA.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing plastic parts, sheet metal, and/or die-cast parts in the automotive sector.
• Ability to work with and coordinate teams.
• Good knowledge of tolerance calculation, plastic injection, and technical design.
• Good command of English;
