Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer
Perform engineering valve design functions for the development of new products and for the modification of existing products.

Design and develop prototype models and methods to validate design concepts.
Collaborate with team members to validate designs and make recommended change
Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, production, vendors, and contractors to support product design projects, with feedback from Engineering Managers

QUALIFICATIONS
· Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering degree.
· 3-5+ years of engineering experience.
Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with an understanding of analytical tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, and/or Mathcad
Experience with using geometric tolerance techniques and drafting to ensure proper alignment and stackups (ANSI Y14.5M-1994 is a plus)
Experience with designing fluid handling devices (valves, pumps) is a plus

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $120,000.00+
