Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be part of application solution team focus on product & solution development, familiar with manufacturing process on steel metal fabrication. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing plant performance, and supporting continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate concepts and develop detailed designs for entrance system product
• Generate 3D models for design review and verification.
• Generate manufacturing drawing and BOM list for manufacturing purpose
• Prepare mockup and prototype for design review and verification
• Prepare manual for the purpose of assembly, operating and maintenance
• Produce test plan to verify the design
• Develop customized design base on existing product for special project
• Review and evaluate design specification with customers.
• Liaise with vendor to solve the problem during fabrication
• Work closely with sales team, production team and procurement to successfully deliver project

Skills & Qualification

• Working experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience
• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Familiar with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA),stack up tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing
• Familiarity in Design Process (Feasibility Study, Conceptual Design, Design Review, Verification, Validation etc) up to Production realization.
• Must be familiar with manufacturing process of sheet metal fabrication.
• Familiar with any following manufacturing process will be an advantage: die casting, injection molding, aluminum & rubber extrusion and 3D printing.
• Proficient with 3D and 2D CAD design software, preferable Solidworks and Draftsight
• Experience with testing, reliability, and qualification of product
• Able to work hands-on and manage project deliverables individually.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Passion for product design.
• Possess good coordination skills and communication skills
• Positive mindset and able to work as a team.
• Able to multi-task
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good spoken and written English skills. Able to speak and write in Mandarin and German will be an advantage.
• Experience with Machinery Safety Directive 2011/42/EU will be an advantage
