ISS is looking for a Mechanical Construction Engineer for the Abu Madi Onshore Plant, Nile Delta Area, Egypt.

Mechanical Construction Engineer

The senior mechanical construction engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical construction activities at the project site to ensure that work is executed in compliance with project specifications, international standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

➤ Construction Supervision
1- Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction activities.
2- Ensure that the work is executed according to the approved drawings, procedures & specifications.

➤ Subcontractor Management

1- Supervise subcontractor activities and manpower.

2- Complete follow-up subcontractor activities to be incompliance with project engineering documents and ahead of the schedule.

➤ Test & Commissioning Activities

1- Follow up pre-commissioning and commission activities including hydro test loop release, hydro testing, flushing & cleaning, mechanical completion check and punch list clearance.

➤ Required Skills

1- Strong knowledge of piping systems & static equipment installation

2- Familiar with international codes and standards.

3- Project management and leadership skills.

4- Familiar with P&ID’s, isometric drawings & GA’s drawings

5- Good communication and coordination skills.

➤ Project Coordination

1- Coordinate with engineering team, QA/QC team, HSE team & subcontractors.

2- Resolve construction issues and technical queries.

➤ Schedule & Progress Control

1- Monitor construction progress against the project schedule.

2- Prepare daily, weekly & monthly progress reports.

3- Identify delays & propose corrective actions.

➤ Quality Assurance

1- Ensure compliance with project quality plans & inspection test plans.

2- Coordinate inspections with QA/QC engineers.

3- Ensure the mechanical activities in compliance with international standards and company specifications.

➤ Technical Documentation

1- Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built drawings.

2- Ensure proper documentation for mechanical completion dossiers.

➤ HSE Compliance

1- Ensure strict compliance with HSE regulations

2- Ensure safe work during welding, pressure testing & equipment installation.

➤ Qualifications

1- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

2- 10–15 years of experience in oil & gas construction projects

Job Details:

- Location Abu Madi Onshore Plant, Nile Delta Area, Egypt;

- Expected Starting date April 2026;

- Duration 12 moths
