• Review RFQ documentation and customer technical data to evaluate product complexity, associated risks, and suitability for production

• Identify technical risks, key cost drivers, and opportunities for design or process optimization

• Recommend appropriate suppliers and manufacturing strategies aligned with customer requirements and company capabilities

• Prepare high‑level cost estimates (HLA) based on materials, labor, production methods, and other relevant factors

• Support supplier evaluations by assessing technical content in supplier quotations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, sourcing, engineering and operations to ensure alignment between customer expectations and internal capabilities

• Contribute to the successful execution of awarded projects by supporting manufacturing sites during production launch

• Act as a technical advisor during the pre-award phase and early production ramp-up

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing or industrialization (e.g., injection molding, CNC machining, sheet metal, die casting)

• In‑depth understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost structures

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation

• Experience working with assemblies (HLA) and BOM structures is an advantage

• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD or similar)

• Good understanding of supplier capabilities and manufacturing processes
