This is a full-time, site-based role at Hinkley Point C. We can only consider candidates within commutable distance of Bridgwater or those willing to relocate, with support available to assist the move.

You will support the commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems. The role combines hands-on testing with structured preparation activities.You will develop practical commissioning capability in a highly regulated environment.

๐Ÿ”ฉ Support commissioning activities for mechanical plant and equipment

๐Ÿงช Assist with execution of mechanical testing and functional checks

๐Ÿ“‹ Contribute to commissioning procedures and test documentation

๐Ÿ” Support fault identification and resolution during testing activities

๐Ÿค Interface with construction, installation, and operations teams

๐Ÿ“ Assist with system handover evidence and readiness documentation

๐Ÿฆบ Apply strong safety behaviours during all site activities

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Though it would be great if you have experience in nuclear, it is by no means essential! If you have experience in a highly regulated environment, we want to hear from you.

It is also important to know that its rare for the perfect candidate to exist. If you feel like you have 70% - 80% of the required skills, please don't hesitate in replying.

โš™๏ธ Understanding of mechanical systems and equipment

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Practical site-based engineering or operational experience

๐Ÿง  Logical, methodical approach to problem solving

๐Ÿ“‹ Experience in commissioning, testing, and equipment handover

๐Ÿฆบ Safety-focused mindset in industrial environments

๐Ÿค Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams

๐Ÿ“ Clear written and verbal communication skills
