Your Opportunity

We are actively seeking for Mechanical Engineering Co-op Student to join our growing team in Fredericton, NB office for a 12-16-month term, commencing in June 2026.

Your Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineering Co-op Student will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Assisting engineering staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling and evaluating project data, preparing reports and performing engineering-related calculations and analyses.
  • Working with technical staff to develop 2D drawings and 3D dimensional models under direction of senior staff.
  • Participating in site visits, when required.
  • Assisting in project administration including formatting and compiling reports, gathering information, managing data files, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and work in a team environment.
  • Be proactive and self-initiative
  • Be fast learner, with the ability to adapt
  • Have previous experience (preferred).
  • Basic experience with CAD tools and 3D modeling software packages
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs.

Education and Experience

  • Completed secondary education
