The opportunity
Are you a Mechanical CAD Technician (Building Systems) with a passion for shaping modern workspaces? We’re looking for a detail-oriented technician to support new construction, interior renovations, and building retrofits within the Commercial Office sector. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design and documentation of high-quality mechanical systems, working closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, coordinated solutions from concept through construction. Your daily impact
• Produce detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD for projects across institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential sectors
• Contribute to the preparation of plans and assist with technical specifications throughout all project phases
• Participate in site surveys and incorporate field conditions into project documentation
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated, client-focused solutions
• Support BIM coordination efforts, including basic clash detection and model updates in collaboration with other disciplines
• Apply firm standards, BIM protocols, and relevant mechanical codes under engineer guidance
• Manage drawing revisions and assist with construction-phase support, including RFIs and as-built documentation.
Your profile
• College Diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field
• 3–7 years of experience in a building mechanical CAD/technician role
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of Office 365 tools
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
• Clear communicator with the ability to simplify technical information
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.

Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, scope of the role and geographic location.
