Position Type: Full TimeAt Ultimation, an MCE Company, we’re growing – and we’re hiring a Mechanical Assembler - Conveyor Systems to help us grow even further!
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and related components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires hands-on mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble conveyor systems (MDR, belt, gravity, roller, etc.) and components per engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to fit, align, and secure parts.
• Perform basic mechanical fabrication tasks such as drilling, cutting, tapping, and fastening.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper function and quality compliance.
• Work with production supervisors and engineers to identify and resolve assembly issues.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and contribute to a safe workplace culture.
• Package, prepare, and stage equipment for shipment as required.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
Required Skills/ Abilities
- Education and
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a mechanical, electrical, or fabrication environment is highly preferred but not required. Forklift experience is required.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with a willingness to learn. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and work for extended periods. Ability to safely work at heights using ladders or scissor lifts (training provided). Ability to work in outdoor environments for loading and unloading.
- Additional
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Basic computer skills required. Must be able to follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced environment.

The Hourly
Rate for This Position Is
Min $20/HR - Max $25/HR
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
