DESE Research, Inc. is seeking mid-level and senior Mechanical and Tooling Design Engineers with space hardware experience to support aerospace vehicle programs in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. This role requires hands-on proficiency in PTC Creo and Windchill PLM, strong mechanical design skills, and the ability to work independently. If you've designed or supported tooling and hardware for space programs and want to improve your CAD and PLM skills on real flight and ground support equipment, we encourage you to apply!
You'll support the design, development, and documentation of tooling for manufacturing, ground support, and test operations on space hardware programs, working directly with our customer's engineering team. Day-to-day, you'll generate and redline 2D drawings and 3D models in PTC Creo per ASME Y14.5 and manage that data through Windchill PLM. We're looking for someone who can take a set of performance requirements, develop a conceptual design, and mature it into production-ready drawings and models, with strong attention to detail and data integrity throughout. A collaborative attitude, openness to customer feedback, and strong attention to detail will set you up for success in this position.
