
ISS International S.p.A. is currently looking for a Mechanical and Machinery Engineer to join an important Oil & Gas development project based in the Milan area, Italy.
The selected professional will support the review and coordination of mechanical equipment and rotating/static machinery engineering for offshore facilities, ensuring compliance with project requirements, international standards, and operational reliability targets.
The role includes review of technical specifications, datasheets, vendor documentation, package interfaces, multidisciplinary coordination, and support to procurement, design reviews, and technical issue resolution.
Main Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
At least 5 years of experience in Mechanical / Machinery Engineering after graduation
Proven experience in mechanical equipment and machinery engineering within Oil & Gas projects
Good knowledge of rotating and static equipment used in offshore or industrial facilities
Experience in review of pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, filters, utility systems, compressors or similar packages
Familiarity with API, ASME, NACE and related standards
Experience in technical bid evaluations, vendor package follow-up, and engineering deliverables review
Exposure to HAZID / HAZOP, 3D model review, constructability assessments and interdisciplinary coordination
Good command of English
