Sanimax is looking to hire an experienced Fleet Mechanic. The schedule will be Monday through Friday with a flexible start time between 5 am to 7 am and work an 8 1/2 hour day.

As a Fleet Mechanic you are responsible for:
Conduct pre-inspections on all equipment to ensure road readiness
Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and trailers (primarily end-dump)
Perform light maintenance and repairs on yard equipment
Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical issues
Perform welding and metal fabrication (MIG welding preferred)
Maintain accurate records and complete work orders in a timely manner
Perform preventive maintenance in compliance with DOT standards
Collaborate with the Transportation Department to meet fleet demands
Experience Preferred:
5+ years of related work experience
Previous experience with trailer repair and maintenance strongly preferred
MIG welding experience required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with DOT standards and preventive maintenance procedures
