Your Opportunity: Taylor is seekingaMechanic Technicianwho is an advanced role responsible for diagnosing, repairing, andmaintaininga wide range of vehicles and machinery. This position requiresa high levelofexpertiseand independence in performing complex repairs and providing guidance to junior technicians.

Your Responsibilities

  • Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to accuratelyidentifymechanical issues and malfunctions.

  • Perform intricate repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other critical components with minimal supervisionIncludes preventative maintenance of production equipment andfacilitiesrepairs.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensureoptimalequipment performance and longevity.

  • Mentor and train junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices and technical skills.

  • Collaborate with operations leadership toidentifytraining gaps and opportunities among the production team.

  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

  • Coordinate with inventory personnel to managepartsprocurement, ensuring availability of necessary components for repairs.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements tomaintaina safe working environment for self and others.

  • Communicate with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and offer recommendations for vehicle maintenance.

  • Occasional equipment setup and changeoverrequired

Your Shift:

  • Sunday - Wednesday 1:00pm-11:00pm OR Monday - Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm

YouMust Have:    

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive or machinery repair, with a proventrack recordof advanced diagnostic skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.

  • Proficiencyin using diagnostic tools and equipment.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • May require standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy components (up to70 pounds).

  • Exposure tonoise, fumes, and various environmental conditions.

  • Technical certification in automotive or mechanical fields preferred.

Theanticipatedhourly range for this position is $29 - $34. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just onecomponentof Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees
