As an Electrical Mechanic, you'll work alongside experienced electricians while developing your commercial electrical skills. You'll install electrical systems, assist with layout and equipment installation, and perform hands-on electrical work on commercial construction projects. This position is ideal for someone with electrical experience who wants to continue building their knowledge and advance in the trade.
What You'll Do
- Assist with the installation of commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Install conduit, wire, devices, lighting, and electrical equipment under the direction of an Electrician or Foreman.
- Perform underground work, rough-in, trim-out, and equipment installation.
- Assist with trenching, excavation, conduit installation, and concrete work as needed.
- Pull wire and assist with cable installations.
- Read basic blueprints and follow project specifications.
- Operate electrical tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Help move, stage, and organize materials and equipment.
- Continue developing your electrical knowledge while supporting the team.

Qualifications

Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- At least five years of commercial electrical construction experience.
- Experience leading crews on commercial electrical projects.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical plans.
- Experience installing commercial electrical systems, including underground, rough-in, trim-out, equipment installation, and finish work.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using mobile devices and standard construction software, including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience using common commercial electrical tools and equipment.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
