Job Location: Ephrata, PA 17522
Job Shift: DaySpring Glen Fresh Foods is currently seeking a Production Maintenance Mechanic. This is a 1st Shift Position.
The Production Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing general maintenance assignments, utilizing well developed mechanical skills under minimal supervision. Responsible for following food safety, legal and quality policies including but not limited to: Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMPs), food safety, product quality, food security, etc.
- Adhere to LOTO and all common safety practices or rules including the wearing of protective equipment as required.
- Repair, maintain, and adjust various types of machines, equipment, and physical plant under minimal supervision.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor in ordering supplies, parts, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with established schedule.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, operating manuals, and schematics in order to effectively perform work assignments.
- Report any equipment or building condition requiring maintenance to Maintenance Supervisor.
- Complete all documentation as required by Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with all safety and GMPs.
- Keep work areas clean in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications
- Must have ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
- Advanced knowledge in the following: welding, cutting, brazing, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrications, carpentry, electrical, refrigeration, boilers, masonry, food manufacturing, etc.
