New Millennium Steel Dynamics’ New Millennium Building Systems platform is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our advanced manufacturing operations. Your Schedule

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on plant machinery and equipment
  • Perform maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Complete welding, fabrication, and machining projects to support plant operations
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead cranes and material handling equipment
  • Maintain and repair mobile equipment used throughout the facility
  • Work with 480V three-phase electrical systems and controls as needed
  • Support a strong safety culture by following all maintenance and safety procedures

Qualifications

What We Are Looking ForRequired:

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to lead or support maintenance projects and assignments
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety requirements
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial mechanical systems

Preferred (but not required):

  • Basic knowledge of 120V and 480V three-phase electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Strong welding, fabrication, and machining skills
  • Experience maintaining overhead cranes, roll-forming equipment, or mobile equipment
