New Millennium Steel Dynamics’ New Millennium Building Systems platform is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our advanced manufacturing operations. In this role, you will help keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems throughout the facility. Your Schedule

• Shift schedule based on plant operational needs
• Overtime opportunities available as needed

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on plant machinery and equipment
• Perform maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Complete welding, fabrication, and machining projects to support plant operations
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead cranes and material handling equipment
• Maintain and repair mobile equipment used throughout the facility
• Work with 480V three-phase electrical systems and controls as needed
• Support a strong safety culture by following all maintenance and safety procedures

Qualifications

What We Are Looking ForRequired:

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lead or support maintenance projects and assignments
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety requirements
• Experience troubleshooting industrial mechanical systems

Preferred (but not required):

• Basic knowledge of 120V and 480V three-phase electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Strong welding, fabrication, and machining skills
• Experience maintaining overhead cranes, roll-forming equipment, or mobile equipment
