Job Description

  • Karratha based with occasional site travel throughout Pilbara
  • Local living allowance
  • Monday – Friday hours

THE ROLE

Join Duratec's expanding Northwest Division and play a key role in keeping our fleet of mobile plant and equipment operating safely and efficiently.

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the mechanical yard
  • Maintain a safe, organised and efficient workspace
  • Service, inspect and maintain a range of mobile plant and equipment
  • Perform general repairs, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
  • Conduct tool inspections and maintenance activities
  • Support equipment servicing and maintenance across other Pilbara operations as required
  • Complete maintenance records and basic administrative tasks using computer systems
  • Providing guidance and support to apprentice, assist with their mechanical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Contribute to a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant Trade certification
  • Experience servicing and maintaining mobile plant and machinery
  • Exposure to remote sites across the Pilbara
  • Experience working with Ford, Hino and Isuzu light vehicles and equipment
