Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for mechanical maintenance of all plant equipment within planned time frames including, but no limited to, engines, HRSGs, centrifugal separators, reciprocating compressors, centrifugal pumps.
  • Ensure all plant equipment are healthy by providing quality maintenance.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure that maintenance of machinery / equipment is completed correctly and that conforms to specifications and safety standards.
  • Implement the maintenance procedures and working routines.
  • Monitor the condition of maintenance equipment, materials, parts and tools, ensure those are maintained according to applicable guidelines and policies, and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Assist supervisor in problem solving and root cause analysis for all plant equipment.
  • Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to Wartsila and customer Quality, Health, Safety and
  • Environmental guidelines.
  • Responsible for effective implementation of permit to work, lockout & tag out systems to protect personnel and equipment.
  • Responsible for good housekeeping and cleanliness of all plant equipment.
  • Work in general shift as well as rotating shifts as and when needed.
  • Requirements: DAE Mechanical with minimum 8 years' experience of maintenance in large reciprocating engines-based power plants. Expertise in using general tools, power tools, and measurement tools. Can work at height and in high temperature environments..

Qualification & experience requirement: Diploma Mechanical with 8 years of relevant experience

Other desired Skills:

  • Hands on maintenance experience of internal combustion engines (Must have)
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments (Sub part of overhauling engines) (Added advantage)
