Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join a well-established workshop in the Vendée region of France on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of commercial and industrial vehicles while ensuring high standards of safety and service.

Vos missions

• Vehicle maintenance
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance, including routine servicing and scheduled inspections.
• Diagnostics and repairs
• Diagnose, inspect, adjust, and repair mechanical systems such as suspension, braking systems, clutches, lubrication systems, oil changes, and speed limiters.
• Component replacement
• Identify faulty parts and carry out repairs or replacements as required.
• Equipment installation
• Install vehicle accessories and specialised equipment when needed.
• Roadside support
• Provide occasional roadside assistance at customer locations or on the road.

Vos compétences

• Minimum CAP/BEP qualification or equivalent vocational training.
• Previous experience in mechanics, ideally involving commercial vehicles, heavy goods vehicles, industrial equipment, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or automotive vehicles.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to further develop skills in the heavy vehicle sector.
• French speaker
• Attention to detail, good teamwork abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Interest in working in a collaborative environment with an enthusiastic technical team.
