Job Location Hanover, NH 03755 Position Type Full Time Salary Range $16.48 - $21.41 Hourly

Responsible for maintaining department inventory, including re-ordering, and stocking of department items. Ensures high level of food quality and service. Works in partnership with the Meat/Seafood Manager and the Store Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Stays within the annual budget for Meat/Seafood Department in coordination with the Meat/Seafood Manager
  2. Follows the Manager’s Code of Conduct
  3. Ensures that the Co-op’s policies and procedures are enforced and administered in a timely fashion and recommends any changes warranted
  4. Orchestrates the daily functions of the Meat/Seafood Department as needed
  5. Responsible for Meat/Seafood inventory, ordering and vendor relations
  6. Responsible for stocking and merchandising all department areas
  7. Works with Meat/Seafood Manager to ensure proper signage and clean, attractive displays and cases
  8. Conducts or oversees regular meetings and huddles with Meat/Seafood Department in the absence of the Meat/Seafood Manager
  9. Maintains Meat/Seafood Department sanitation procedures and ensures compliance with governmental regulations



Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience and Attributes:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. One year of supervisory experience
  3. Ability to represent the Co-op in a positive manner
  4. Two plus years and knowledge of local growers and product
  5. Ability to multi-task
  6. Proficiency in ECRS POS system and processes
  7. Set an excellent example for new employees
  8. Proficiency in use of computer software, Office 365, Excel and Word
  9. Serve Safe certification, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months
  10. Excellent follow through

Attendance Requirements:

Flexible hours, including weekend and evening shifts. Availability to be scheduled to work any day of the week, according to department needs.
