
The Meat Department Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and organization of the meat department. This position involves ensuring that the meat displays are consistently well-stocked, neat, and visually appealing. Key responsibilities include unloading meat products, stocking shelves, and building attractive displays as needed. Associates are also tasked with maintaining a clean and sanitary work area which involves daily cleaning and sanitation of the meat preparation room. A strong familiarity with store products and their locations is essential to effectively assist customers and provide knowledgeable service.

· Provide outstanding customer service.
· Wraps raw meat and chicken products.
· Assist customers with specific needs.
· Cleans and sanitizes meat preparation room.
· Ensures meat and seafood counters, shelves, and freezers are well stocked and up to cleanliness standards.
· Operates grinder to prepare ground beef for packaging.
· Ensures proper rotation of all fresh meat and seafood products.
· Follows safety and security procedures.
· Regularly operate the grinder, knives, and slicers.
· Maintains excellent personal hygiene habits.
· Check in vendors and unload product.
· May assist on front-end with cashier and carryout duties as needed.
· Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

· Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment preferred but not required.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Minimum age requirement = 18 years old.
