Company Introduction
T&T Supermarket Inc. was found in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly to become Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 27 stores across the country: 12 in Metro Vancouver, 6 in Alberta, and 9 in Ontario (7 in GTA and 1 in Ottawa, 1 in Waterloo).

Major Responsibilities:

1. Assist customers in selecting meat products and provide recommendations to them, if necessary
2. Maintain inventory and product quality; ensure full display of various meat products
3. Cut, pack and label various meat products and display them in the display coolers
4. Label frozen meat products and put into the display cooler
5. Maintain workplace cleanliness, wash and ensure relevant work tools are clean and well-kept
6. Keep warehouse, display and walk-in coolers clean and tidy
7. Follow procedures to process expired products and manage shrinkage
8. Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

1. Accountable, pleasant and is able to take initiative
2. Friendly and have a passion to serve our customers
3. Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
4. Able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) an asset
5. Able to stand a long time, dealing hands on with products and lifting of products of 50 pounds on a regular basis
6. A good team player
7. Not allergic to handle meat products
8. Knowledge of basic work safety
9. Relevant experience in handling meat products is preferred
10. Completed secondary education an asset
