Job Description

Role Purpose

Join our team to support the migration of new measurement technologies and assist in the development of advanced measurement tools for manufacturing. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in Physics or Optical Engineering who are eager to learn and grow in the glass manufacturing industry. The role offers opportunities to collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior engineers and team leaders in technology migration projects
  • Assist with gauge training and troubleshooting under supervision
  • Participate in small technical teams to complete assigned tasks
  • Document work and communicate progress to the team

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Required Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
    • Internship or up to 2 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing or R&D environment preferred
    • Demonstrated interest in solving technical problems and learning new technologies

    Required Technical Skills

    • Basic understanding of Physics phenomena, Laser Optics, Fiber Optics, and Mechanical design
    • Familiarity with hardware and software design concepts
    • Exposure to programming languages such as C# or LabVIEW is a plus
    • Experience or coursework in data analysis
    • Experience on Machine learning or LLM development skill

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with a diverse, global team
  • Ability to follow instructions and contribute to team problem-solving
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English
