  • Build operator-facing HMIs for automated inspection/metrology machines.
  • Integrate UI with C#/.NET backend and machine control layer (real-time machine state, commands, traceability).
  • Design clear UX flows for machine operation: job/recipe selection, setup, calibration, diagnostics, alarms, and service screens.
  • Integrate the UI with machine control and data sources (PLC/automation interfaces, inspection results, logs, databases).
  • Implement real-time dashboards and visualization: machine states, cycle status, defect/quality views, trends and traceability.
  • Cooperate with PLC/controls and backend engineers to define contracts (state model, commands, permissions, error handling).
  • Work closely with Controls, Vision, and Mechanical teams during development and commissioning (FAT/SAT support).

Requirements:

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or similar (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years building HMIs/industrial UIs (or strong relevant experience in UI for industrial/technical applications).
  • Strong development skills in one of: C#/.NET (WPF/WinForms), web-based HMI (TypeScript/React), or SCADA/HMI platforms.
  • Proven experience integrating frontend with backend APIs (REST and preferably WebSockets/SignalR or similar real-time channels).
  • Understanding of event-driven UI for industrial systems: reconnect logic, safety/permission gates, robust error handling.
  • Ability to work with structured “machine state” models (finite-state flows, alarms, interlocks) and translate them into clear operator UX.
  • Good English communication.

Nice to have:

  • Vue.js (Vue 3) + TypeScript, component architecture, state management
  • Exposure to .NET/C# integration patterns (SignalR, gRPC, API versioning).
  • Industrial protocols/concepts (PLC, OPC UA, Beckhoff/TwinCAT/ADS), SCADA/HMI experience.
  • Visualization (charts, image/result viewers), traceability/MES concepts, SQL basics.
