Responsibilities:

• Defining, supporting, and further developing measurement methods and processes
• Executing, optimizing, and documenting quality improvement measures
• Optimizing statistical process control (basic knowledge in Power BI)
• Independently conducting root cause analyses in collaboration with internal stakeholders on the shop floor
• Planning, evaluating, and implementing new measurement methods and technologies
• Managing and further developing quality‑relevant equipment
• Serving as the central point of contact for questions regarding measurement execution, selection of measuring equipment, and procurement of measurement tools
• Conducting internal and external trainings in German and English

Qualifications:

• Completed technical degree, e.g., metrology, physics, or similar; ideally with solid experience in subtractive manufacturing
• Very good MS Office skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing‑related inspection and testing methods (e.g., CMM, optical methods) as well as common quality methods (e.g., 5 Why, A3, 8D, RCA)
• Solid knowledge of statistical procedures and methods
• Solid knowledge of measurement system analyses and validation concepts
• Good technical understanding of engineering drawings and bills of materials
• Initial programming experience (e.g., Zeiss Calypso or basic CAD/CAM knowledge)
• Experience in project management
• Independent, well‑structured working style
• Confident appearance internally and externally
• Flexibility, teamwork skills, assertiveness
