Goodwill is hiring a Material Handler to support our donated goods operations. If you enjoy active, hands-on work, staying organized, and being part of a team that makes a difference in the community, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do

  • Move and process donated goods following One Touch System guidelines
  • Load and organize trucks safely and efficiently
  • Assist donors with large item carry-outs while providing excellent customer service
  • Sort, stack, and organize donations, salvage, and waste materials
  • Operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, tow motor, etc.)
  • Bale salvage materials as needed
  • Complete daily equipment checks and required logs
  • Maintain clean, safe equipment and work areas
  • Support Attended Donation Center operations as needed
  • Follow all safety and security procedures


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
  • Equipment certification (tow motor, pallet jack) or willingness to obtain
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to safety
  • Reliable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Physical Requirements

  • Lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Frequent standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
  • Warehouse and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Regular interaction with the public
