The MEA Wellness Innovation Lead is responsible for defining and delivering the innovation strategy for Wellness category across the MEA region. This role ensures a strong, consumer‑centric innovation pipeline that drives sustainable growth, maximizes portfolio opportunities, and enables effective scale‑up across priority and emerging markets.
Working closely with cross‑functional and local market teams as well as cross OU teams to maximize learnings, the role leads end‑to‑end innovation initiatives — from ideation, and business case development through governance, execution, and launch — ensuring timely delivery, strong alignment, and value creation across the region.
Role Responsibilities
Define and deliver the innovation plan for Wellness categories across MEA, grounded in consumer insights and strategic priorities of the category
Drive innovation scale‑up across markets by leveraging range and innovation assessments in partnership with local teams
Lead and coordinate the end‑to‑end progression of innovation projects, ensuring on‑time and on‑full delivery against agreed plans
Lead the pre launch planning , launch KPIs with LOC cross functional teams to ensure flawless launch execution and post launch innovation reviews.
Effectively cascading learnings from launches happening in MEA across LOCs as well as interfacing with cross OU/ global teams to synthesize learnings from outside MEA markets with an aim to enrich MEA strategy & execution
Ensure timely and effective presentation of innovation initiatives through required regional and operating unit governance forums
Partner with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Finance, R&D, Supply, Regulatory, and others) to ensure alignment and flawless execution
Recommend, align, and drive robust business case assumptions by leveraging key business levers to maximize value and scalability
Co‑lead innovation projects throughout the full lifecycle, from ideation and planning through development and market launch
Identify risks and challenges within the innovation pipeline and collaborate on mitigation plans and creative solutions
Monitor innovation performance and support continuous improvement of innovation processes and ways of working
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Prior experience in marketing, innovation, or related commercial roles
Proven experience managing multiple innovation or commercialization projects simultaneously
Strong financial acumen, including experience building or contributing to innovation business cases and P&L assumptions
Strong analytical capability, leveraging consumer insights, market data, and competitive intelligence
Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and multi‑market environments
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Proficient English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading innovation initiatives within consumer, OTC, wellness, or FMCG categories
String flair for consumer insight identification and translating it into innovation development e2e
Regional or multi‑country experience across MEA or similar markets
Exposure to end‑to‑end innovation lifecycle management, from concept to market launch
Creative, results‑oriented mindset with strong execution focus
Experience navigating governance forums and senior stakeholder engagement
