REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
• A graduate degree in a relevant field, preferably in the field of social science or economic development.
EXPERIENCE:
• 4–6 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL).
• Proficiency in Kobo Toolbox, Excel, Power BI, and SPSS.
• Experience with UNICEF and/or donor-funded programmes.
• Experience in DQAs, surveys, evaluations, and research.
• Knowledge of RBM, Theory of Change, Logical Frameworks, and indicator development.
• Experience with MIS, databases, and digital data collection systems.
• Understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, accountability, and data protection.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

BACKGROUND
The Om Habibeh Foundation (OHF) is an Egyptian non-profit organization established in 1991 under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity. OHF is the implementation agency for the Aga Khan Foundation Egypt and is an affiliate of the Aga Khan Development Network of organizations and was founded by Om Habibeh Mohamed Shah Aga Khan to contribute to and support local communities in the Governorate of Aswan in areas including health care, education, and providing income for deprived communities through long-term development activities. OHF works in the following areas: Continuing Education, Civil Society, Agriculture and Food Security, Economic Inclusion, Women Empowerment and Early Childhood Development.
POSITION OBJECTIVES:
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will provide hands-on support and lead on specific MERL activities. This includes designing and implementing a robust MERL system; supporting evaluation studies (baseline, midterm, and end line), designing programmes’ monitoring tools, ensuring effective monitoring of programmmes’ outputs and outcomes; and contributing to reporting.
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will work in close collaboration with the programme teams and OHF M&E and Data Quality Manager.
