OVERALL OBJECTIVE
The ARCH project is a climate resilience and disaster risk reduction initiative co-funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and implemented by the Aga Khan Foundation in Tajikistan. The project aims to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable mountain communities, particularly in GBAO, by improving understanding of climate and hazard-related risks, enhancing institutional and local capacities, and supporting practical measures that reduce exposure to disasters.
AKF Tjk is seeking an individual for the M&E Officer position, based in Khorog, GBAO, Tajikistan.

JOB SCOPE
Under the overall guidance of the Program Lead and the direct supervision of the ARCH Project Manager, the M&E Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure that project performance is effectively tracked, measured, and reported. The role supports evidence-based decision-making, accountability to donors and stakeholders, and continuous learning and improvement.
