M&E Manager (Sizewell C)

Main Duties:


· Leadership & Management:
· Lead the planning, execution, and management of all M&E activities within the CWA scope.
· Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.


Technical Oversight:


· Manage systems including Low Voltage (LV), High Voltage (HV), Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) requirements, and Batching Plants.
· Ensure all installations and operations meet regulatory and safety standards.


Permit & Compliance Management:


· Oversee the acquisition and management of all necessary permits for M&E works, including Site Assist and other relevant authorisations.
· Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.


Stakeholder Engagement:


· Liaise with Sizewell C clients, implementing partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and collaboration.
· Support investigation processes and provide documentation as required.


Documentation & Reporting:


· Maintain accurate records of testing, commissioning, and operational activities.
· Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and project stakeholders.


Requirements:


· Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent).
· Proven experience in managing mechanical and electrical systems on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
· Strong understanding of LV/HV systems, TBM operations, and batching plant requirements.
· Experience in permit management and regulatory compliance.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience working on nuclear or high-security infrastructure projects.
· Familiarity with CITB standards and construction workforce accreditation.
· Ability to manage complex logistics and multi-disciplinary teams.
