Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

Daily production line supports ensure DC line operation smoothly and get improvement both in efficiency and quality. Take the charge of the process improvement, optimizing the fixture, tools to improve efficiency, safety and reduce the cost. Support the new product introduction and take lead of the production improvement project.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Daily production support. Solve any problem of the production line in time to ensure the product quality and the safe production.
  • Standardize the job of each station/product. Work out the standard time (SOE) of each product and get the opportunity to reduce the SOE. Improve the efficiency and reduce the cost by Kaizen, RIE or project.
  • Special Order support. Develop the process, mark the difference and training the operators to implement the special order.
  • Lead the project of production line improvement, like new equipment/process introduction or replacement.
  • Take part in quality improvement/quality issue solve. Find out the root cause and avoid them through process method.
  • Liaison with PE for product issue if there is chance to improve the quality or assembling efficiency.
  • Automation digitalization and poka yoke opportunity identify and implementation
  • Manufacturing readiness for new product development.
  • In the process of planning and carrying out their own work, consider and carry out EHS work simultaneously, improve the EHS management of the department, prevent and eliminate EHS accidents
  • When creating and implementing new renovation and expansion projects, it is necessary to evaluate occupational hazards, safety, environment, and energy use, and ensure that relevant improvement measures are designed, constructed, and put into use at the same time

Manufacturing Process Design

Design, implement, and document manufacturing processes with standard work to transform raw material into products so that the proper manufacturing technologies, tools, and resources are used most efficiently during production

Operational Excellence Execution - Solve problems across the entire value stream from quote to cash services with a lean mindset, and participate in continuous improvement efforts in order to reduce costs, increase efficiency, maintain EH&S standards, and enhance productivity and quality

Program Management & Strategy

Make strategic decisions that drive business value, develop individual project plans, and execute activities with the appropriate resources in order to successfully execute strategic programs, manage transformations, and drive Operations improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, HVAC, or a related field
  • More than 7 years of experience in factory manufacturing operations and lean production implementation in the HVAC industry, including at least 3 years of relevant experience in DC data center equipment
  • Excellent experience in lean production (LEAN) implementation • Strong project management skills and experience; experience in factory automation and digitalization projects is preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Pro-E, or other 3D design software, as well as MS Office
  • Good communication, expression, organization, and coordination skills
  • CET-4 level English, with good listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
