Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Master Data Management (MDM) Data Analyst
to support the translation of business requirements into clear, structured data requirements for enterprise master data initiatives. This role focuses on defining master data structures, governance rules, and documentation processes to ensure business needs are accurately represented across systems.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and data stakeholders to design attribute models, support metadata and governance activities, and enable high‑quality, well‑governed master data domains.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Define and document business and governance requirements for key master data domains (e.g., Customer, Vendor, Products, Assets).
• 
  Translate business requirements into comprehensive
  Data Requirements Documents
  , including detailed attribute structures and logical data models.
• 
  Define master data processes such as search, retrieve, create, match/merge, and synchronization.
• 
  Support metadata management using enterprise tools (e.g., Informatica Axon/EDC or equivalent), including business glossaries, definitions, ownership, classifications, and lineage.
• 
  Document attribute‑level data quality rules and business validation logic.
• 
  Prepare governance materials, dashboards, and reports for working groups and stakeholder reviews.
• 
  Support governance‑related change management for attributes, systems, and domains, ensuring alignment with approved standards and processes.

Qualifications

• 
  5+ years of experience in
  Master Data Management
  as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• 
  5+ years of hands‑on experience with Informatica or comparable master data, metadata, or governance platforms.
• 
  Strong understanding of master data concepts, data warehousing, relational databases, SaaS applications, and cloud data platforms.
• 
  Hands‑on experience creating logical data models, attribute definitions, or data mapping specifications.
• 
  Working knowledge of data governance and data management best practices (e.g., DAMA, DCAM, or similar frameworks).
• 
  Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear, stakeholder‑ready documentation.
• 
  Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
• 
  University degree or equivalent experience in Business, IT, Data Management, or a related field.
